Variety depends on the generosity and goodwill of members, donors, sponsors and volunteers who devote their time and energy to helping children in our community. There are endless ways to assist Variety and these include:
Making a donation
Making a donation in kind – such as prizes for auction, services for the office or an event
Becoming an entrant in Variety fundraising events
Sponsoring a team on a Variety fundraising event
Hosting a fundraising event ie movie night
Fundraising in the workplace eg starting a Variety collection tin or selling Variety gold hearts
Becoming a financial member of Variety WA (membership costs $75pa)
Becoming a volunteer
Payroll deduction program – an employee giving program administered by automatic payroll deductions. By making a small contribution each week, employees can make an individual contribution and make a difference. They can donate to the company’s chosen charity directly from their pre-tax salaries, thus reducing their taxable income and entitling staff to an automatic tax deduction.
